Background: Mississippi has extremely high rates of adolescent childbearing and sexually transmitted infections, which is likely due to inadequate sex education in public schools. FactNotFiction was launched in 2012 to combat this and provide medically-accurate sexual and reproductive health information to Mississippi teens.
